Instability

In this case it is necessary to understand leaving as instability from rectilinear movement here and there a forward or back part of the car. It is caused non-uniformity of a steel skeleton in a tyre cover. It is the most appreciable on low speeds, from 8 to 48 km/h (5 — 30 miles at an o'clock).

By means of the road test it is possible to reveal, in what tyre cover there is a defect. If the defective tyre cover costs on a back axis of the car the back part of the car will ransack. From a driver's place it will be felt that as though someone pushes the car sideways. If the defective tyre cover costs on a forward axis that рысканье is even more appreciable. It is shown at driving back and forth, and the driver feels that it is on an axis of turn of the car.

Roving can be quickly revealed by means of the detector of defects of tyre covers (TPD) and following recommendations of the manufacturer of the equipment. If TPD it is inaccessible, there is other, longer method of shift of others, obviously qualitative, wheels on the car.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Will sweep on the car to define, what axis forward or back does not hold road.
  2. Rearrange obviously qualitative wheels from the similar car on a problem axis. If it is impossible to define in what axis there is a roving replace wheels on a back axis.
  3. Once again carry out the road test if improvement put old wheels on one is noted, the defective tyre cover will not be found yet. If improvement has not been noted, replace all wheels and, then, change on one, the defective tyre cover will not be found yet.
