Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a wire of a high voltage (2) from the coil of ignition (1), keeping its cap.
  1. Extend a wire of a high voltage (2) of a spark plug, keeping its cap.
  • Removal of wires of a high voltage together with clips can damage wires inside (a wire of high resistance).
  • For the same reason, disconnect wires, keeping for a cap.

Survey

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure resistance of a wire of a high voltage, using an ohmmeter. Resistance of a wire of a high voltage: 4-10 to / m (1.2 - 3.0 to / foot).
  1. Check up, whether there is no for damages, a permission and corrosion of conclusions. If result of check unsatisfactory, replace a wire () a high voltage.

Installation

Establish a wire of a high voltage (2) on a spark plug and the coil of ignition (1), keeping its cap.


  • Never use a metal conductor of a high voltage for replacement.
  • Completely insert caps when establish high voltage wires.
