Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a brake drum (address to item 1 - 6 procedures of removal Has undressed the Brake drum).
  2. Check up colour of a ring or a tape for reinstallation.

The colour ring on a brake cable serves for identification.

  1. Disconnect a cable of a lay brake from the lever brake колодки (address to item 2 - 5 procedures of removal of Section Brake колодка).
  2. Disconnect a brake cable from a back plate of a brake (address to item 4 of procedure of removal of Section the Back plate of a brake of the given Chapter).

When it is necessary to remove cables and the right and left lay brake, repeat the steps described above for the right and left wheels.

  1. Remove a cable about the lever of a lay brake (address to item 1 and 4 - 6 procedures of removal Has undressed the Lever of a lay brake).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish parts in an order, the return to removal procedure, having paid attention to the following.
  2. Establish a cap of a brake cable (2) on a back plate of a brake (1) having fixed it.

The colour ring or tape on a brake cable serve for identification. Use a cable with the same colour ring, as before removal.

  1. Establish a spring of a brake cable (2) and a branch pipe (3) on the lever колодки a lay brake (1) and fix.
  1. For installation brake колодки, address to item 1 - 5 procedures of installation of Section Brake колодка.
  2. For installation of a brake drum, address to Section the Brake drum.
  3. Correctly stretch and reliably fix clips a cable of a lay brake.
  4. For cable installation on the lever of a lay brake, address to subsection Installation Has undressed the Lever of a lay brake.
  5. On installation end, adjust a cable (address to Section Check and adjustment of a lay brake in the Head Brake system). Then check up, whether there is no jamming of a brake drum, and whether the brake system correctly works. After removal of a vehicle from the lift it is necessary to inspect a brake.
