Removal
|
|
- Disconnect "minus" a battery cable.
- Disconnect system of a pillow of safety. cм. Preventions in the beginning of the given Chapter.
- Ослабьте 2 bolts (1), крепящих the module (having inflated) pillows of safety of the driver until it will freely not turn, take out them and fix in clips.
- Remove the module (having inflated) pillows of safety from a steering wheel.
- Remove from a steering wheel a cable (1) modules (надува) pillows of safety of the driver (yellow) and a cable (2) sound signals.
- Disconnect a module cable (надува) pillows of safety of the driver (yellow) and a cable of a sound signal.
- Remove blocking of the lever or release the blocking button.
- After an unblocking disconnect a cable.

At the reference and storage of the "live" (not worked) module (надува) safety pillows extra care is necessary. Preventions in the beginning of the given Chapter see. Otherwise, traumas are possible. |

Never assort the module (having inflated) pillows of safety and do not check its durability. Otherwise it is possible to be traumatised. |

If the module (having inflated) safety pillows to drop from height of 90 sm (3 foots) or more, it is necessary to replace it. |
Check up the module (having inflated) safety pillows visually, and replace its new if will find out any of the following:
- The safety pillow has worked.
- Finishing covering (overlay surface) (1) треснута.
- Wires (3) or plugs are damaged.
- The module (having inflated) pillows of safety (2) it is damaged or has had strong blow (falling).

Installation

|
- Reliably connect a socket (2) sound signals.
- Reliably connect a yellow socket of a cable of the module (надува) pillows of safety of the driver (1).
- Connect a cable.
- Block a socket the lever or the blocking button.
- Establish a socket of a sound signal and a module socket (надува) pillows of safety of the driver.
- Establish the module (having inflated) pillows of safety of the driver (3) on a steering wheel (4), paying attention to that no wires have got between them.
- Be convinced that the backlash between the module and a steering wheel everywhere is identical.
- At first tighten a fixing bolt (on the left side of) (5) modules (надува) pillows of safety of the driver to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling, then a fixing bolt (on the right side of) (6) modules (надува) pillows of safety of the driver to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. The inhaling moment: a fixing bolt of the module (надува) pillows of safety of the driver — 9 Н•м (0.9 kg th, 6.5 pounds-foots).
