Put hermetic 99000-31110 on the shaded part.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative cable from the accumulator.
  1. Remove the lock of a cowl of the engine (1) from the top forward detail.
  1. Remove a radiator, having addressed to Section the Radiator in the Head engine Cooling.
  2. Remove a drive belt газораспределительного the mechanism, having addressed to Section a drive Belt газораспределительного the mechanism and the tension device for a belt in this Chapter.
  1. Remove a belt pulley газораспределительного the mechanism of a cam-shaft (1), using the special tool. The special tool (): 09917-68221.
  1. Uncover cylinder heads, having addressed to Section the Cover of a head of cylinders in this Chapter.
  2. Disconnect муфту the gauge of position of a cam-shaft and remove the case of the gauge of position of a cam-shaft (2) from a cylinder head. Substitute the container or enclose a rug under the case of the gauge of position of a cam-shaft as during dismantle the oil small amount follows from the case.

  1. After all counternuts of the adjusting screw of valves (2) are untwisted, turn adjusting screws (1) to the full back that all коромысла (3) could move freely.
  1. Remove картер a cam-shaft and a cam-shaft.

To remove bolts картера a cam-shaft, turn off in their small portions.


  1. Remove заглушку axes коромысел (1) and an internal cover of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism (2).
  1. Remove inlet коромысло (1) with a clip (2) from an axis коромысел (3).

Do not bend a clip when remove inlet коромысло.

  1. Remove axis bolts коромысел (1).

  1. Remove the axis end коромысел towards the case of the gauge of position of a cam-shaft and remove the O-shaped ring (2) from an axis (1).
  1. Remove коромысла on release (1) and a spring коромысла (2), having pulled an axis коромысел forward.

Check

The adjusting screw and коромысло

If edges of the adjusting screw (1) are worn strongly out, replace it. Коромысло (2) should be replaced, if the working surface of a cam (3) is worn strongly out.

Deterioration of an axis коромысел

Using blocks "V" and циферблатный the indicator, check up deterioration. If deterioration exceeds admissible norms, replace an axis коромысел. Norms of deterioration of an axis коромысел — 0.20 mm (0.008 inches).

Backlash between коромыслом and an axis коромысел

Using a micrometer and кругломер, measure diameter of an axis коромысел and internal diameter коромысла. The difference between two indicators makes a backlash between коромыслом and an axis which norms are specified. If norms are exceeded, replace an axis or коромысло, or both that, and another.

  • Norm: 15.996 – 16.014 mm (0.6298 – 0.6304 inches)

Diameter of an axis коромысел

  • Norm: 15.969 – 15.984 mm (0.6287 – 0.6292 inches)

Backlash between коромыслом and an axis коромысел

  • Norm: 0.012 – 0.045 mm (0.0005 – 0.0017 inches)
  • Limit: 0.09 mm (0.0035 inches)

Deterioration of a cam

Using micromeasures, measure cam height. If the measured height below norm, replace a cam-shaft.

Deterioration of a cam-shaft

Place a cam-shaft between two "V" blocks, and measure deterioration, using циферблатный the indicator. If deterioration surpasses norms, replace a cam-shaft. Norm of deterioration of a cam-shaft — 0.10 mm (0.0039 inches).

Deterioration of a neck of a cam-shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check up necks of a cam-shaft and картеры a cam-shaft about corrosion, scratches, deterioration or damage. If any malfunction is found out, replace a cam-shaft or a head of the cylinder with картером. Never replace a head of the cylinder without replacement картера.
  1. Check up a backlash, using a plaster plaster solution.
  2. The given procedure consists in the following.
  3. Wash up картер and cam-shaft necks.
  4. Establish a cam-shaft on a cylinder head.
  5. Put a part of a plaster plaster solution for full width of a neck of a cam-shaft (in parallel a cam-shaft).
  6. Establish картер a cam-shaft, having addressed to item 7 of procedure of installation.
  1. Fix bolts картера a cam-shaft in such order as it is specified in drawing in the small portions while they will not be completely fastened to the specified rotating moment. The rotating moment of an inhaling: a bolt картера a cam-shaft () — 11 Н•м (1.1 kg th, 8.0 pound on foot).

Do not rotate a cam-shaft while the plaster plaster solution lies.


  1. Remove картер and, using a scale ruler (2) on a surface of a plaster plaster solution (1), measure width of a plaster plaster solution in the widest place.
    • Backlash of a neck of a cam-shaft:
      • Norm: 0.040 – 0.082 mm (0.0016 – 0.0032 inches)
      • Limit: 0.12 mm (0.0047 inches)
  1. If the measured backlash of a neck of a cam-shaft falls outside the limits norms, measure diameter of the chiseled aperture of a neck (картера) and external diameter of a neck of a cam-shaft. Replace a cam-shaft or knot of a head of the cylinder depending on where the divergence with norms is more.

      • Norm: 28.000 – 28.021 mm (1.1024 – 1.1031 inches)
      • External diameter of a neck of a cam-shaft
      • Norm: 27.939 – 27.960 mm (1.1000 – 1.1007 inches)

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Grease with engine oil an axis коромысел and коромысла.
  1. Establish an axis коромысел, коромысло (the party on release) (2) and a spring коромысла (1).
  1. Insert a new O-shaped ring (2) on an axis коромысел from outside transmissions into the O-shaped trench for a ring in axes коромысел (1).
  1. Establish an axis коромысел so that its detachable part looked downwards, in parallel (1) interfaced surfaces of a cover of a head.
  1. Insert axis bolts коромысел and fasten them to the specified rotating moment. The rotating moment of an inhaling: an axis bolt коромысел () — 11 Н•м (1.1 kg th, 8.0 pound on foot).
  1. Pour an engine oil small amount in fixing part of the hinge of the shaking lever (3) axes коромысел. Insert коромысло (the party on an admission) (1) with clips (2) into an axis коромысел.
  1. Put engine oil on cams and necks on a cam-shaft and put a cam-shaft on a cylinder head. Establish картер a cam-shaft on a cam-shaft and a cylinder head.
  2. Put engine oil on a sliding surface of everyone картера against a cam-shaft neck.
  3. Put hermetic on the interfaced surface картера №6 cam-shafts (3) which will be interfaced to a cylinder head. "And" hermetic: 99000 – 31110.

2 — the flywheel party
  1. On everyone картере a cam-shaft there are the stamped marks specifying position and a direction for installation. Establish картер, as указанно on these marks.
And — Specifies in position from outside a drive belt газораспределительного the mechanism. Establish in a digital order, since the party of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism.
In — Specifies in a direction картера. Establish how it is specified by an arrow towards a drive belt газораспределительного the mechanism.
  1. As картер a cam-shaft №1 keeps a cam-shaft in the necessary position, as to a direction of axial pressure, be convinced that at first is reliably established картер №1 on a neck №1 cam-shafts.
  1. Having greased bolts картера with engine oil, twirl them at first temporarily. Then fasten them, observing the sequence specified in drawing. Twist bolts in gradually small portions and in regular intervals, and repeat sequence of a twisting 3 – 4 times before they will be fastened to the specified rotating moment. The rotating moment of an inhaling: a bolt картера a cam-shaft () — 11 Н•м (1.1 kg th, 8.0 pound on foot).
  1. Put a new oil sealant of a cam-shaft (1). Having greased with engine oil an edge of an oil sealant, densely press an oil sealant of a cam-shaft, adjusting until its end face will not be drowned заподлицо with a surface картера.
  1. Establish заглушку axes коромысел and an internal cover of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism. Then fasten заглушку axes коромысел to the specified rotating moment. The rotating moment of an inhaling: заглушка axes коромысел () — 33 Н•м (3.3 kg th, 24.0 pound on foot).
  1. Establish a pulley of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism of a cam-shaft (1) in a cam-shaft, having inserted a pin (2) into an aperture on a cam-shaft, noted by a label «Е».
  1. Fasten a pulley bolt to the specified rotating moment by means of the special tool.
    • The rotating moment of an inhaling:
      • Bolt of a pulley of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the cam-shaft mechanism () — 60 Н•м (6.0 kg th, 43.5 pound on foot)  
    • The special tool (): 09917-68221
  1. Establish the tension device for a belt, a drive belt газораспределительного the mechanism, an external cover, a pulley коленвала and a belt of the water pump, having addressed to Section a drive Belt газораспределительного the mechanism and the tension device for a belt in this Chapter and the Belt of the cooling fan in the Head engine Cooling.
  2. After hermetic drawing on a part "And", establish the case of the gauge of position of a cam-shaft on a cylinder head, and fasten its fixing bolts to the specified rotating moment. Attach муфту the gauge of position of a cam-shaft. "And" hermetic: 99000-31110. The rotating moment of an inhaling: a bolt of the case of the gauge of position of a cam-shaft (— 11 Н•м (1.1 kg th, 8.0 pound on foot).

  1. Adjust клапанный a backlash, having addressed to Razdelu Klapannyj a backlash in this Chapter.
  2. Establish a cover of a head of the cylinder.
  3. Establish a radiator and fill cooling system, having addressed to Sections the Radiator and Washing and filling of system of cooling in the Head engine Cooling.
  1. Will put the lock of a cowl (1) on the top forward detail and adjust lock position.
  1. Fill with liquid А/Т, having addressed to Section liquid Replacement in the Head the Automatic transmission (4 A/T).
  2. Connect a negative cable to the accumulator.
  3. Having finished installation, check up, whether leaks antifreeze or liquid А/Т (for models А/Т) on each connection.
  4. Be convinced of that installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition or fuel injection corresponds to technical requirements, having addressed to the Head Engines.
